Edition 2011

The 2011 event was organized by the Florence City Council, the Fashion Department and by the industrial research laboratory Logislab, with the collaboration of several researches from the Universities of Florence, Bergamo and, concerning the PLM stream, supported by PLM Systems. The conference was sponsored by the Industrial Associations of the province of Florence, Arezzo and Prato.

It took place in the Palagio dei Capitani di Parte Guelfa or, quite simply, Palagio di Parte Guelfa, a prestigious and fascinating location from an historical point of view, that was formerly the headquarter of the Parte guelfa (the guelfo party) during the clashes with the Ghibellini.
The event has registered a total of 400 participation requests. Due to the maximum capacity of the accommodation, just 280 pass have been released. The conference attendance has been outstanding because during the conference 240 participants have been counted.

Over the 70% of the participants were executives. 150 companies have participated, whereof 32 manufacturers in the apparel industry, 5 manufacturers in the footwear industry and 28 manufacturers in the leatherwear industry.
