The third edition of the IT4Fashion Conference was focused on the emerging topics of product lifecycle management, sustainability, protection of Made in Italy, originality and traceability. It took place at the Grand Hotel Mediterraneo, as usual in Florence, on April 19th 2013.

IT Managers, Logistics Managers, University Professors have examined the actual and future perspectives of IT supporting the fashion industry.
The most important Information and Communication technologies, adopted by the fashion companies in order to enhance the manufacturing and logistic processes throughout the entire value chain, have been presented through successful case studies.

IT4Fashion has once again represented the best stage for debates involving university lecturers, researchers, IT, Supply Chain and Logistics Managers of the main fashion companies. The main topic has concerned innovation and technologies supporting Made in Italy.
The conference has hosted three parallel sessions, concerning the themes of RFID, Product Development, ERP, CRM, Customer Experience and Business Intelligence systems.
A workshop devoted to the SMEs, as suppliers of bigger fashion companies, has been organized in parallel to the other sessions.
