After carefully considering the current climate, and taking advice from government, the organisers of It4Fashion 2020 are pleased to announce that the event has been rescheduled for the 2nd and 3rd December 2020.
In the meantime, It4Fashion, in collaboration with lead media partner The Interline, will continue to provide channels for sponsors and partners to reach out to confirmed delegates and the fashion-technology audience as a whole.
The decision to postpone the event for this length of time was not taken lightly, but was deemed to be the only logical choice in the face of a public health crisis that has dramatically affected Italy and the world. So, in consultation with our exhibitors and speakers, we have chosen to delay our event until a more certain time.
This way, we are hopeful that It4Fashion 2020 will be able to guarantee our delegates the same high standards that previous events have been known for.
“It is difficult to envision how fashion is going to change over the coming months, and there is a very good chance that things may never go back to the way they were prior to the COVID-19 outbreak,” says Professor Rinaldi. “For fashion and luxury brands to continue to thrive in this changed world, there will be a greater need than ever for digital transformation – and It4Fashion 2020 will showcase presentations, case studies, and demonstrates that will help delegates build their own digital futures.”
It4Fashion 2020 – the tenth instalment of the event series – will adhere to the previously-published agenda, with a two-day event and a Gala Dinner scheduled for December 2nd.
Full media coverage and ongoing content will also be provided by The Interline, which has already, through March 2020, published luxury-focused articles in place of its scheduled keynotes. The will, in December 2020, also be shifting its editorial focus to look at the applications of blockchain in fashion – something the luxury brands attending It4Fashion 2020 are already interested in.
